Batam Airport Guide to Hang Nadim International Airport (BTH)

Batam Airport Taxi

By taxi seems to be the fastest and safest way to get to Batam downtown, since it is located at 22 kilometres from it – The estimated transfer time varies between 29 and 34 minutes.

At the ground transportation centre you’ll find plenty of taxis – many of them just doesn’t have meter. As an advice, we recommend you to only board the official and metered taxis in order to avoid possible scams (the ones displaying a yellow license plate). You may encounter that the driver doesn’t want to use the meter, in this situation you will need to negotiate fares.

In case you decide not to follow this advice, you’ll need to negotiate fares with the driver prior your trip and be aware of the possible surcharge.
